Around the Spot

Around the Spot dice game is played with 3 six-sided dice with objective to score most points after predetermined set of rounds.

Setup: 3 six-sided dice and a scoresheet

Around the Spot Dice Game Play:

Players take turn to roll all 3 dice 3 times in each turn. Points are scored in each round as per the following rules

1. Players score 1 point for each 1 rolled, 2 points for each 3 rolled and 4 points for each 5 rolled.
2. If they roll 2, 4, or 6 they don’t get any points but if they roll a triple of 2, 4 or 6 then their points for the turn is doubled and they get one additional roll.
3. If players roll a triple of 2, 4, or 6 second time then their points for the turn is not doubled. This is repeated in similar manner so the odd number of triples rolled for 2, 4, or 6 doubles the score and even number of triples rolled in the same turn cancels it.
4. Players continue to roll clockwise for a predetermined number of rounds and highest scoring player at the end of the last round wins the game.
