Going to Boston dice game also known as Going to Town is a simple game played with 3 dice. The objective of the game is to win maximum rounds by rolling 3 dice.
No Of Players: 2 or more players
Setup:
3 dice and a score sheet to keep track of scores of each round.
First Turn:
Roll one die to decide. Player rolling highest number goes first. In case of a tie re-roll.
Going to Boston Dice Game Play:
The game is played for a predetermined number of rounds and in each round player starts with rolling all 3 dice. After each roll player is required to set aside exactly one die with highest number. In case player has rolled more than one die with highest number, only one die can be set aside so in first roll player rolls 3 dice, then 2 dice in next roll and 1 die in third and last roll. The sum of all dice numbers is the final score of the player for that round.
The player with the highest score wins the round. In case there is a tie, 3 dice are again rolled 3 times to decide a winner.
When all rounds have been played, the player who won the most rounds is the overall winner.
