Tri Peaks is a solitaire card game that is similar in rules to the solitaire games Golf and Black Hole.
The game uses one deck and objective of the game is to clear three peaks made up of cards.
The game starts with eighteen cards dealt face-down on the tableau to form three pyramids with three overlapping tiers each. Over these three pyramids are ten face-up cards.
The remaining twenty four cards make up the stock and one card from the stock pile is placed on waste pile.
Cards are ranked from Ace to King in the following sequence
A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K
Cards may be moved from the tableau to the waste pile if they are either one rank higher or one rank lower, regardless of suit.
When there is no possible move from the tableau to the waste pile, one card can be moved from the stock to the waste pile.
As cards are moved from the tableau to the waste pile, the cards which are not covered are turned face-up in the tableau.
You can only remove face-up cards.
When going through the stock, the cards are drawn one at a time with no re-deal.
The game is won when all cards from the tableau are moved to the waste pile.
